TangoCharlie – Fire to Fire

Here and raising the neon-clad spectre of dance-punk past are Montreal’s TangoCharlie.  The group features Mathias Mental, who made an appearance in this space earlier this week, providing his customary Jonathan Richman-like vocal stylings over slinky bass grooves that recall the heyday of The Rapture and !!!.  The entire album is available on their bandcamp, and it definitely worth a listen.
