Omhouse – Nursery

It’s been more than a little while since we last heard from Toronto‘s Steven Foster aka Omhouse, but Mooneye was one of our favourite records of 2014, so we’ve always been eagerly awaiting any word of new music. And now we’ve got a new single! On “Nursery”, as with his past work, we’re not quite sure how Foster manages to make complexity sound so simple and effortless. And we definitely have no clue what time signature we’re in. But the way the melody gently coasts atop the riffing guitars, it’s all so natural that there’s no need to count. Also: that mellotron!

“Nursery” is available now from Bandcamp. If you’re in Toronto, catch Omhouse at the Baby G this Tuesday.
