Montreal’s Armen At The Bazaar released his latest EP for free recently, and the whole thing is great. It’s a mishmash of different styles of indie rock, and while most of it doesn’t really fit with Silent Shout’s mandate, the slow-building Anna’s Song is a nice piece of electronic goodness.
Hypnotizing and serenely dark. Toronto’s The Deeep are repetitive but never overstay their welcome with this six minute song. Want more? They just released an extended version on a 12″ put out by 100% Silk. On the b-side the vinyl includes two remixes that we can’t wait to hear.
The Deeep will also be playing The C is for Cure, a PWYC fundraiser at the Music Gallery in Toronto on Saturday, January 29. A great cause and a great line-up!
