Video: A.A. Wallace – This Can Heal
Here’s the video for the first single from A.A. Wallace‘s forthcoming L.P. (disambiguation). Slow burning electric piano lead groovezzzzz. Also it was released on Flexi disc! You can download five different versions of the track on his bandcamp.
MP3: A.A. Wallace – Last Christmas (Wham! Cover)
We’ve hit an important landmark in the history of this blog: our first ever Christmas song. Halifax’s A.A. Wallace just released this little 80′s inspired ditty. A mournful tale of a previous Christmas with heartbreak and woe. Poor A.A. Wallace
New Release: Jaguar Knight – Jaguar Party Edits Vol. 1
April Wine – Tonight Is A Wonderful Time (Jaguar Knight edit)
Sheena Easton – Strut (Jaguar Knight edit)
A.A. Wallace – Shake It Out (Jaguar Knight remix)
So pleased to find out about an excellent Halifax-based producer, Jaguar Knight. He’s just put out a compilation of party jams, appropriately called Party Edits Vol. 1, and remixed Silent Shout faves Jenocide and A.A. Walace. But what’s really exciting about this release is that April Wine now gets to grace our pages. Download the whole compilation for free from Jaguar’s Bandcamp.
Huge thanks to Herohill for introducing us to this guy.

MP3: A.A. Wallace – Offline
We’ve been impressed with Halifax-based A.A. Wallace before, but not like this. Listen to his new song Offline here, then go get the single at his bandcamp for some remixes.
A. A. Wallace – Bowie
Despite the song apparently having nothing to do with David Bowie, A. A. Wallace from Halifax has crafted a pretty great electroclash song. Looking back at his previous releases on his bandcamp, he also has a pretty steady repertoire. We can’t wait to hear more from him.
Remix: Rebekah Higgs EP Remixed
Rebekah Higgs – Wilderness Girls (A.A. Wallace Remix)
Rebekah Higgs is an indie rock singer songwriter from Halifax who’s also the lead singer of Ruby Jean and the Thoughtful Bees. She’s just released a remixed version of her EP, and here are two great remixes from it, one by Vancouver’s A.A. Wallace and one by Mike Din of Montreal. The whole remix EP can be downloaded for free here.
