Humans – Possession (Beta Frontiers Remix)
Humans – Streets of Philadelphia (Bruce Springsteen cover)

Fantastic and anthemic remix of Humans‘ “Possession” by Toronto spectral synthpop wonderkids Beta Frontiers. “Streets of Philadelphia” is from Humans’ two-song covers EP which also includes a Chris Isaak cover. For you-know-which-song.

Remix: Beta Frontiers x Fear of Men

Beta Frontiers deliver a really nice remix of Fear of Men. No news on what’s next for them, but we still quite enjoy the EP they put out earlier this year.

MP3: Phèdre – Haberdash

Posted on June 20th, by arp2600 in New Release

Phèdre have released a new track to raise funds for the now-closed Toronto bar Unlovable. Sadly, the bar was closed indefinitely after they were over-capacity at NXNE. A bunch of good bands didn’t get to play as a result, and Toronto has potentially lost a really excellent place.

That all said, the track is great.

You can purchase it, along with Beta Frontier’s remix of the Major Lazer song Get Free, over at Daps Records’ bandcamp.
