MP3: Born Gold – Ferocious Body/Against Silence

Born Gold – 1: Ferocious Body
Born Gold – 2: Against Silence
Here’s two more new tracks from Edmonton’s Born Gold – he says the two songs are meant to be listened to as one piece. The first part is full of R&B-ish pop hooks delivered through heavy vocal processing, while the second part is scattershot beats that jump from idea to idea, from minimalism to maximalism. Seems like Little Sleepwalker, out in a few weeks, will be more experimental than expected.

Here’s Edmonton’s Born Gold with the first single from Little Sleepwalker, which is out October 23.
Video: Kuhrye-oo – Give In (For The Fame)
Ooo, guys, Kuhrye-oo is a new project from Born Gold’s Calvin McElroy! The new video features him and Grimes, and was filmed on their iPhones in New Orleans! In a graveyard! And an abandoned Six Flags!
Creepy as heck, partially directed by Grimes, what more can you ask for from a Silent Shout band? We LOVE the music too and we strongly suggest you get the EP from UNO.
