MP3: Dark Ages – Victory

Dark Ages – Victory (demo)
Did any of you Toronto folks see Dark Ages’ set over the weekend? That was damn, damn fine. Something awesome is happening with these guys, and we’re very excited to see what they do next.
MP3: Dark Ages – Ritual

A bruising new track from Dark Ages, as they get all EBM on us and channel their inner Apoptygma Berzerk. These guys are so much fun.
Remix: Dakota x Dark Ages

Dark Ages – Heresy (DAKOTA remix)
Toronto mystery human Dakota has taken Dark Ages‘s latest “Heresy” (which we posted last week) and turned it into a glorious hymn to evil.
MP3: Dark Ages – Heresy (Demo)

It may be just a demo, but this new Dark Ages track hits hard. And fast. Seriously, how fast is this track? But the soft filtered synths in the background rein in the aggression a bit and give “Heresy” a nice melodic underpinning. One of our favourites yet from the Toronto trio. Looking forward to their next move. If you’re in Toronto, catch them this Saturday, check the concert calendar for details.

Brusque Twins – Wait For Me
We like to think that we made this happen, considering that we booked these two wonderful bands together a few months ago. Dark Ages remixing Brusque Twins!? What more can you ask for?
Digits in Toronto!
In case you haven’t heard, it is worth noting in this space that our beloved friend and colleague Digits is making his return to Toronto at the Garrison this Saturday night. It should be a great show, featuring

MP3: Dark Ages – Human Being
Aha! Another exclusive track from Dark Ages, who are playing the next Silent Shout on July 14th at The Garrison in Toronto. The band really sounds nothing like their predecessor Put The Rifle Down, but they are so good, and put on a really, really damn fine live show. Three beautiful men crouched over the same table bobbing their heads in unison. Good times.
Thrashy electro-punk at it’s best. You can download this and their other demo on their brand-new Tumblr.
