This is terribly exciting. Toronto pure pop star par excellence Diamond Rings has remixed pop gods of yesteryear OMD! It’s a great dancefloor filler, and it’s cool that their touring together has been immortalized in MP3. The run of shows continues across North America this summer, check the concert calendar for details.

Hooray for talented hard-working people getting recognized. Congrats Diamond Rings.
This is a super fun track and the video has motorcycles. Also it looks like it probably cost EMI a bunch of money. Good job Diamond Rings!
Yacht Club – Flash (Single Edit)
Chevalier Avant Garde – Young
Tonight’s the first night of Pop Montreal, there’s not as much happening, so we’ve only got a few things to recommend.
We can help you plan out your whole Pop Montreal already – we’ve noted all the best in dark electronic pop that’s playing the festival on our concert calendar.
Diamond Rings performing a new track for KCRW. Sounding good! Looking forward to Free Dimensional, which is out in late October.
Here’s a brand new Diamond Rings video. From the well-muscled dancers to the spectacular costumes to the unstoppable club-banging chorus this screams Top 40. I sincerely hope this makes the million dollars it obviously deserves.
Recently signed to behemoth Astralwerks, Diamond Rings has time to kill before they reissue his first album Special Affections. But he’s making good use of it! He’s remixing a different artist each week, and here’s a round-up of what he’s been up to. My fave is the remix he did of Hamilton homeboy Motem.
