It’s nice to be reminded every once and a while that you don’t have to include drum machines and bleeps and bloops to be spectacularly creepy. Both the song and the video from Toronto’s Tasseomancy (formerly Ghost Bees) achieves this quite well. For us, the video hearkens back to one of the scariest things every produced: the opening to Are You Afraid of the Dark. Really, though, what did you expect from Austra’s backup singers? We’re really looking forward to their imminent debut release Ulalume on Out of this Spark.
