MP3: The Magic – Mr. Hollywood
The Magic are back! They played their first live show in quite a while in Guelph on April 11th, and they’ve released this little gem as the first single from their forthcoming debut LP, Ragged Gold. The single certainly portends great things to come from these guys, it’s incredibly slick and impossibly infectious, an immaculately realized disco jam featuring lush string arrangements, perfectly placed backing vocals and delighful synth flourishes. It really is a must listen. Ragged Gold is currently available for presale here, and comes out June 25th on Half Machine Records. Get excited! Lord knows we are.
